do as I say poster

This was a project I did for my graphic design history class. The project goal was to take inspiration from a famous graphic designer and create something based off of their style. I chose Barbara Kruger. I didn't want to rip her off with the typical photo in the background blurred out with red color blocks and helvetica writing so instead I chose to create an image that felt like a photomontage. I wanted to be somewhat similar to her in the sense that I chose a warm color for the type and and did transparent blocks behind the type instead of solid color blocks.

This is a new painting I just finished acrylic on canvas. I am also in the middle of creating wallets based off of this bird character.

I created this look book for my photo2 class. I had to create lighting and photograph everything myself. I also created the layout and all graphics used in the book.
